The 10th International IAEA AUNIRA Workshop Took Place at FNSPE

The Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering, CTU in Prague, hosted the 10th edition of the international workshop IAEA AUNIRA – Advanced Use of Neutron Imaging for Research and Applications 2025. Held under the auspices of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the event brought together sixteen participants from around the world for a week-long program in October focused on advanced neutron imaging techniques.

The expert program was led by Aaron Craft (Idaho National Laboratory, USA), Burkhard Schillinger (Technical University of Munich, Germany), and Jana Matoušková (FNSPE CTU). Participants attended a mix of lectures and hands-on sessions exploring how neutron imaging is applied in both science and industry.

The workshop also featured experimental demonstrations and measurements at the LVR-15 reactor in Řež and the FNSPE CTU's VR-1 reactor in Prague, giving attendees a rare chance to experience real reactor operations used for education and research in nuclear science.
