Admission Procedure for Bachelor's Studies and Follow-Up Master's Studies

The Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague announces the admission procedure for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Applications for admission to Bachelor Programmes and the Follow-up Master Programmes are accepted no later than June 30, 2026.

How to apply for ADMISSION TO Bachelor's PROGRAMMES

  1. Choose a Study Programme

  1. Apply Online 

Complete the online application form at prihlaska.cvut.cz 

Important: If your grades do not correspond to the Czech grading system and no official conversion table is available, enter “1” for all averages and final grades. 

  1. Pay the Admission Fee 

The admission fee is CZK 950 (approximately EUR 38) 

The application will be processed only after the fee has been paid. 

Submit Required Documents 

All documents must be submitted by the deadline stated in the Dean's Directive. Without these documents you cannot be admitted or invited to enrol. 

  • Certificate of Equivalence or Nostrification of your foreign education (Information about internal nostrification is available here.)

  • Proof of language proficiency at minimum CEFR (SERR) level B2 

Documents may be submitted either in person or by uploading scanned copies to your online application. You can also send them by post to:

  1. Letter of Admission 

After successfully submitting all required application documents (and, for Master's programmes, completing the entrance examination), you will receive a Letter of Admission. If you require a Letter of Admission with an original signature, please contact Mrs. Kuchyňková. Once you receive the Letter of Admission, you are officially admitted as a student and may prepare for enrolment and the start of your studies. Information about enrolment dates and the start of studies will be provided as an attachment in your online application.

Applicants must provide an examination certificate proving language competence at a minimum level of CEFR B2. The following language certificates are accepted:

  • Cambridge English Language Certificate – Level B2 (e.g. FCE)
  • ELTS – Degree 5,5 or higher
  • TOEFL – Level B2
  • City & Guilds International ESOL – Level B2
  • TELC English B2

Applicants from Russia or Belarus applying for a non-critical study programme will be admitted after submitting the required documents (recognition of previous education and a Czech Language Certificate) and successfully passing the entrance examination. If an applicant from Russia or Belarus is applying for admission to a critical study programme, in accordance with Rector's Order No.5/2022, he/she must submit a Request for Exemption and a Motivation Letter. The request will be assessed individually by the Dean of the Faculty. The printed and signed Motivation Letter and Exemption Request shall be delivered to the Study Office of FNSPE. The request will be processed only after all documents required for admission have been submitted.
