Colloquium with Prof. Ki-Sig Kang

We invite you to the FNSPE CTU colloquium with Prof. Ki-Sig Kang on the topic “Key Success Factors for NPP Construction Management.” Join us at Břehová 7, room B-103, Prague 1, for a lecture focused on the management of nuclear power plant construction. In-person attendance is preferred; however, the colloquium will also be available online.

Prof. Ki-Sig Kang is a visiting professor at KEPCO International Nuclear Graduate School (KINGS) with more than 40 years of experience in nuclear engineering, project development, and international technical cooperation. He previously worked at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where he focused on nuclear knowledge management, infrastructure development, and the long-term operation of nuclear power plants.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS FOR NPP CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

This lecture addresses key questions related to the effective management of nuclear power plant construction projects. It examines whether cost overruns and construction delays are inevitable features of new nuclear builds and whether a universal model for successful project management exists. It also explores the conditions necessary for a more efficient global nuclear supply chain in the context of new nuclear development.

Registration is possible via the link here.
