All FNSPE CTU students (excepting student admitted to study in 1st years of bachelor’s and follow-up master’s studies) are obligated to enrol in the winter semester of the 2026 - 2027 academic year independently through KOS.
Student enrolment through KOS will take place from 1 August 2026 to 20 September 2026.
Enrolment procedure through kos:
Enrolment is valid only if the student registers for courses in the KOS system and the enrolment is finalized by the Study Office.
- Students must verify in KOS that they have a) obtained the required number of credits for the previous Academic Year, and b) successfully passed all compulsory courses that were re-registered for the second time; only after meeting these requirements may the student proceed with enrolment into the next year.
- In KOS students shall independently register for courses only for the winter semester, in accordance with their CURRENT study plan (see the KOS Self-enrolment Guidelines).
- Upon verifying their course registration, students must notify their assigned Study Officer via email petra [dot] antonova [at] fjfi [dot] cvut [dot] cz (petra[dot]antonova[at]fjfi[dot]cvut[dot]cz), who will then finalize the enrolment in KOS.
- Once the enrolment has been finalized, the student can no longer make changes to their course registration for that semester. Any additional changes must be requested by e-mail to the Study Officer.
- Students must also verify their personal information in KOS. Updates to contact addresses are to be made by the student directly in KOS; all other changes (e.g., surname, bank account number, permanent address, etc.) must be reported to the Study Office.
Failure to enrol via the KOS system as outlined above means that the student will not be registered for the next Academic Year, and their studies will be terminated.
Post-enrolment changes: From September 21, 2026 to October 9, 2026, students may make changes to their enrolment only via email to their Study Officer or in person at the Study Office.
Notice:
- A student who fails to obtain the minimum number of credits required for continuation of studies will not be enrolled and their studies will be terminated.
- Students who fail to complete enrolment within the specified period will have their studies automatically terminated.
- Courses from the previous academic year that were not successfully completed may be re-registered, but each course may only be registered a maximum of two times.
- Enrolment in the next academic year is conditional on fulfilling the required criteria (see Policies and Procedures for students of FNSPE CTU, Art. 3, and Study and Examination Regulations, Art. 14).
- Examinations registered for the 2025–2026 Academic Year may still be completed after enrolment, but no later than September 20, 2026.
- Proof of enrolment for the coming academic year may be printed directly from the KOS system the enrolment is finalized.
Important conditions for progression to the 2026 - 2027 academic year:
- Students who have completed the first year of the Bachelor Course must have obtained a minimum of 30 credits in the previous academic year.
- Students in higher years of the Bachelor Course or in any year of the Follow-up Master Course must have earned a minimum of 40 credits and passed all compulsory courses that were re-registered for the second time.
