Academic Departments and Scientific Centres

Departments are the main organisational units of the faculty. Their mission is to ensure contents of study fields and foster scientific activities. The faculty consists of ten departments including the department of humanities and languages. Departments are managed by heads of department, who are usually outstanding personalities in their field. Besides the departments, there are several scientific (research) centres.
