The Project Administration Department manages all agendas concerning FNSPE grant and project activities. The department falls under the Faculty Secretary’s competency.

Department competencies by order of the Dean:
- cooperating with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS) and other government authorities and grant agencies in the Czech Republic and other EU countries, the European Commission, European Research Council (ERC) and European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST),
- managing applications, solutions, closures and archiving of grants, projects, research plans and centres at FNSPE, especially Czech Science Foundation projects, Technological Agency of the Czech Republic projects, projects announced by ministries of the Czech Republic, MEYS, CTU IS, CTU Student Grant Competition and CTU Student Science Conference and CTU University-wide Activities Fund development programmes, structural fonds projects and other EU programme projects,
- monitoring all legislation and terms regarding grant activities,
- searching for providers’ calls and informing potential applicants of them,
- coordinating and supervising the formal aspects of proposal submissions, continuous and final reports on research grants, projects, plans and centres,
- providing methodical support for all grant and project applicants, arranging legal and financial advisors for grant activities,
- providing legal and financial support for organising FNSPE recruitment procedures,
- cooperating with corresponding CTU Rectorate departments in all the above mentioned competencies
- preparing co-investigator agreements.
