Department competencies by order of the Dean:

  • Operating and managing the faculty computer network including all its components, connecting the faculty into outside networks,
  • managing the technical components of the faculty website and all websites connected to the faculty’s activities, acquiring and managing storage for faculty website services,
  • drafting regulations issued by the Dean or Vice-Deans concerning information and computing systems, monitoring compliance with existing regulations,
  • coordinating preparations and executing IT projects for all providers,
  • communicating with the CTU Computing and Information Centre and coordinating joint projects,
  • providing all IT services for end users at the FNSPE Dean’s office,
  • providing support for IT services for other FNSPE sections,
  • ensuring functionality and connectivity of CTU information sources,
  • managing the FNSPE telephony,
  • managing and developing resources for high performance computations at FNSPE,
  • providing computation and information resources for other Dean’s Office departments,
  • managing lecture rooms’ IT equipment and resources for hybrid/distance learning,
  • backing-up electronic documents according to the needs of the Dean’s office departments,
  • setting rules for cyber security and ensuring compliance from end users, coordinating with the CTU cyber security manager,
  • cooperating with corresponding CTU Rectorate departments in all the above mentioned competencies.
