Department competencies by order of the Dean:
- tending to labor law and wage requirements of FNSPE employees related to the creation of, changes to and termination of employment contracts,
- managing the personnel and wage register and processing statistic report on its basis,
- reviewing compliance with labor law regulations and their effectiveness,
- preparing financial plans for wages,
- fulfilling reporting obligations to health insurance companies, Prague Office of the Czech Social Security Administration, dealings with the Labour Office, with the Financial and Enforcement Office and other institutions,
- organising recruitment procedures, preparing documents for hiring employees,
- monitoring employee use of vacation time,
- drafting and updating faculty legislation in the personnel area, monitoring compliance,
- processing retirement security and tax documents,
- providing support for issuing visas for foreign faculty employees,
- monitoring sick leave and other employee absences,
- cooperating with corresponding CTU Rectorate departments in all the above mentioned competencies.
