The Finance and Administration Department manages the faculty’s activity in the finance and budget areas. The department falls under the Faculty Secretary’s competency.

Department competencies by order of the Dean:

  • preparing the budget for the faculty as well as individual departments and monitoring its fulfilment,
  • processing financial plans including updates and creating faculty economy management proposals,
  • monitoring compliance with budgetary discipline and other generally applicable standards,
  • fulfilling the accounting function of the faculty,
  • keeping the faculty asset register,
  • providing cash desk services and managing payment operations with financial institutions,
  • issuing invocies for purchasers and disposing of received invoices,
  • drafting and updating faculty legislation in the economy department and monitoring compliance,
  • processing materials and discussions in the tax, duty and pricing areas with corresponding state and CTU Rectorate authorities,
  • drafting financial contracts and internal agreements with collaborating CTU faculties,
  • administering local and foreign travel orders,
  • managing the additional activity agenda,
  • preparing materials for internal and external audits,
  • cooperating with corresponding CTU Rectorate departments in all the above mentioned competencies.
