Kvantová informace a měření

Measurement is a powerful tool used for quantum information processing in multiple ways. It can be used for preparing quantum states that are subsequently used as a resource for communication or computation; quantum error correction; parts of quantum algorithms; as well as the basis for a quantum computing paradigm known as measurement based quantum computation. Measurement-based protocols are particularly popular in optical quantum information processing schemes. The goal of the project: The specific application of measurement will be decided before starting the project and then put in the assignment specification. Please contact me if you are interested in any of the areas. Expected skills and knowledge: Familiarity with quantum programming tools such as Qiskit is an advantage. Students interested in quantum optics are welcome. The preferred language for thesis is English, although Czech is also possible.
