Scholarships

The CTU Scholarship Code defines the following types of scholarships:

  • housing scholarship – awarded based on meeting the statutory conditions (no application required)
  • merit scholarship – awarded based on academic results achieved in the previous decisive period, i.e. the previous academic year (no application required)
  • social scholarship – awarded in cases of social hardship based on the assessment of an application
  • targeted scholarship – awarded in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1(b) of the CTU Scholarship Code
  • doctoral scholarship – awarded in accordance with Article 2, Paragraph 1(d) of the CTU Scholarship Code

The proposed amount of the merit scholarship for academic results achieved in the 2024/2025 academic year is described below. This is only a proposal. Its approval will be decided by the FNSPE Academic Senate in November 2025.

The amount of the merit scholarship at FNSPE CTU in bachelor’s and follow-up master’s studies for academic performance in the 2025/2026 academic year, based on study results from the previous 2024/2025 academic year (the decisive period is the academic year), is derived from the weighted grade point average S (rounded to two decimal places) in accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 12 of the valid CTU Scholarship Code, and is proposed as follows:

  • If S = 1,00:                     7,000 CZK per month, i.e. 70,000 CZK for the academic year
  • If 1,00 < S <= 1,10:       6,000 CZK per month, i.e. 60,000 CZK for the academic year
  • If 1,10 < S <= 1,25:       3,000 CZK per month, i.e. 30,000 CZK for the academic year
  • If 1,25 < S <= 1,50:       1,500 CZK per month, i.e. 15,000 CZK for the academic year.

The scholarship is awarded in accordance with the CTU Scholarship Code for a period of 10 months (Article 3, paragraph 5). Scholarships are paid in two equal instalments. The first is paid at the end of the calendar year, and the second in spring.
