Funding is available to students travelling abroad for study or research purposes. Strategic management support program is also available for visits by guest professors, as well as for international mobility of academic and non-academic staff.

Funding for student mobility for the current year has already been fully allocated. However, doctoral students may still apply for financial support.
What funding can students apply for?
- Scholarships for students going abroad to study (double/joint degree programmes) or to participate in other activities in the interest of CTU:
- long-term scholarships – for the second year of a Master’s degree within a double/joint degree programme;
- one-off scholarships – for participation in international academic and sports competitions or conferences (to cover travel and accommodation costs).
- Scholarships for CTU students studying at universities abroad (Erasmus).
- Scholarships for international students enrolled in Master’s degree programmes.
- Scholarships for international students enrolled in doctoral degree programmes.
- Financial support for doctoral students going abroad for study or research. The one-off scholarship may cover up to 50% of the total costs, with a maximum amount of CZK 40,000. The faculty must contribute at least the same amount as that provided by the CTU fund.

- Sign the application and obtain the signature of the head of your department.
- Submit the application (including the original hard copy) to the Vice-Dean for International Relations.
- The application will be reviewed by the Vice-Dean for Study Affairs and/or the Vice-Dean for International Relations, as applicable.
- The application will then be forwarded to the CTU Rectorate.
FNSPE STaff
Funding for staff mobility for the current year has already been fully allocated. Applications for financial support are therefore no longer being accepted.
What funding can staff apply for?
- Support for visits by guest professors, lecturers, and distinguished experts.
- Support for international mobility of academic staff, including early-career lecturers (e.g. for teaching stays, lectures, or organisational activities related to the preparation of courses and study programmes).
- Support for international mobility of non-academic staff (e.g. participation in conferences, fairs, training courses, and workshops).
- The fund does not provide support for travel related to research or scientific activities that are funded by grants or other sources, or that constitute profit-making activities.
Conditions
- For activities of university-wide importance, funding may cover up to 100% of the costs.
- For activities primarily benefiting a department, faculty, institute, or similar unit, funding may cover up to 50% of the costs.

- The information should then be sent to the Head of the International Relations Office (Oleg [dot] Fetisov [at] cvut [dot] cz (Oleg[dot]Fetisov[at]cvut[dot]cz)), with the Vice-Dean for International Relations in copy, or directly to the Vice-Dean.
