FNSPE CTU student exchanges a interships are provided in cooperation with the Foreign Office of the CTU Rectorate.
According to FNSPE Student Regulations no. 8, foreign stays are prepared in accordance with these rules:
- In each type of study, a maximum of two longterm stays with a total duration of two semesters can be planned.
- In exceptional cases, a request for an extension of the total duration of the stay may be submitted to the Student Affairs Office.
- If a student of a follow-up master’s degree programme intends to complete part or all of their diploma thesis during a foreign stay, this must be confirmed by a written consent from the head of the department. This consent must also include the appointment of a deputy thesis supervisor at the host institution. By issuing this consent, the head of the department confirms that the details of the thesis supervision have been discussed with the proposed deputy supervisor.
- Enrolment in the semester during which the student takes part in a foreign internship or stay, is typically carried out without registering courses. In justified cases, it is possible to request an exception by submitting a standard application to the Faculty Student Affairs Office.
Procedure for Preparing the Stay:
- Preparation of a study plan approved and recommended by the respective department, submitted to the FNSPE CTU Student Affairs Department before the start of the stay.
- Evaluation of the completed study plan and transfer of the completed courses (including their credit values) by the respective department, followed by approval from the FNSPE CTU Student Affairs Department.
- Compliance with the general rules set in the CTU Study and Examination Regulations (namely acquiring at least 20 converted credits for the semester)
